Take the Challenge!
Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death in Oklahoma for people ages 15-20 Years old. According to recent surveys, one in four teens respond to a text message once or more every time they drive, while 20 percent of teens and 10 percent of parents admit that they have extended, multi-message text conversations while driving.
Texting while driving is as dangerous as drinking and driving when it comes to inhibiting a teen's driving ability. In 2015, 3,477people were killed in motor vehicle crashes involving distracted drivers and approximately 391,000 people were injured.
