Here is a new way to learn about ATV safety using an online course.

The ATV Safety Institute’s eCourses are free, self-paced, interactive online training programs that address basic ATV safety principles and include:

  • Riding-experience videos from a first-person point of view

  • Animation

  • Interactive learning exercises and quizzes to self-test knowledge gained

This course is designed for Individuals. Teachers could assign the course to entire classes and would report how many students completed it.

Requirements:

  • create a promotional video, poster, social media post to encourage awareness of this course - include an electronic version or picture in submission.

  • Teachers can post this activity to Google classroom and can report the number of students completing the course.

  • If individual students complete the course (not as a classroom activity), they can provide/show a copy of their certificate of completion, and the total number should be included in the submission

Based on the needs of the community, this coalition implements evidence-based programs, such as car-seat checkups, bike rodeos, and safety booths... with a mission of preventing unintentional childhood injury. Safe Kids Oklahoma hosts safety events, conduct workshops in everything from schools to hospitals, advocates for effective legislation, and distributes safety devises such as car seats, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, helmets, and personal floatation devises.
