Turn an everyday stop into a reminder that could save a life!
Work with a teacher or school administrator to get permission to post Bathroom News in your school's restrooms. Create simple flyers or "singlets" to display on stall doors, mirrors, or other approved areas that encourage safe driving habits.
Choose a traffic safety message to feature, such as:
Don't Text and Drive
Seat Belts Save Lives
Drug and Alcohol Awareness
Sign Up for the DriveWell Go™ App Challenge (October–December)
Keep the message fresh! Update your Bathroom News each month or quarter with a new safety topic and earn an additional 100 points every time you create a new display.
Once your display is up:
Take photos of your Bathroom News.
Upload your photos to the Oklahoma Challenge website to earn points.
Share your project on your school's social media pages and tag Oklahoma Challenge.
Point Value: 150 Points
Bonus: Earn an extra 100 points for each new monthly or quarterly update!
Complete the activity.
Take photos of your finished display.
Click Submit Points on the Oklahoma Challenge website.
Complete the submission form.
Upload your photos and include a brief description of your activity, the completion date, and who participated (if applicable).
Note: To earn points again during the current school year, your school must create a new display and submit new photos each time.
Leaderboards are updated weekly, so don't worry if your points don't appear right away.
