Work Zone Safe

All Oklahoma teens must have a course completion certificate to receive their Oklahoma Intermediate License from Service Oklahoma starting November 1, 2023.

Learn how to stay safe in and around highway work zones while earning points for your team!

Teachers can use this course as a classroom activity and submit the number of students who completed the course during their class period(s).
It also works well for a substitute teacher lesson plan!

Complete the free Work Zone Safe online course to learn why work zone safety matters and how you can help keep road workers, drivers, passengers, and yourself safe.

As an added bonus, students who complete the course are automatically eligible for a chance to win a $500 college scholarship through Work Zone Safe's monthly scholarship drawing.

After you finish the course:

• Take a screenshot, or photo, or print completion certificate showing you've completed it.

• Provide proof to classroom teacher.

• Teacher will submit proof to the Oklahoma Challenge website to earn points.

• Share your accomplishment on your school's social media pages and tag Oklahoma Challenge and Work Zone Safe.
