Never Skip the Click – Teach the Next Generation

Can you help younger kids learn that every ride starts with a click?

Team up with younger children to complete the Never Skip the Click Activity Kit! Older students can lead the activities, help younger kids learn about seat belt safety and make the ride more fun with Route 66-themed games.

Use the activity kit to share the message that buckling up is important on every trip.

Download the activity kit from the Campaign Resource Center by clicking here or using QR code image above.

Or, plan ahead and order as part of the Never Skip the Click Campaign Kit through the materials Request Form.

Activities include:

  •  Coloring Sheet: Help younger kids color and talk about seat belt safety.

  • Mad Lib: Complete the seat belt safety story designed for older kids.

  • Pattern Repeater + Tic-Tac-Toe: Play together while reinforcing the Never Skip the Click message.

  • Stickers: Share the seat belt safety message with fun stickers.

  • Route 66 I-Spy/Road Trip Bingo: Play together and celebrate the Route 66 Centennial while learning about safe travels.

Older kids can earn points by leading activities, participating with younger children and sharing the Never Skip the Click message.

 What to submit:

Share photos or videos of older and younger kids completing the activity kit together. Include a brief description of the activities and the number of children who participated.

Photo and video safety: Only share photos or videos that show a younger child’s face or identifiable features with parent or guardian permission. If you do not have permission, take photos or videos from behind, focus on the activity materials or frame the shot so the child’s face and other identifying features are not visible.
