Executive Director

Linda Terrell, MHR

Linda has been a local, state, and national leader in the areas of injury prevention, traffic safety, sexual violence, community/youth development, substance abuse, child abuse prevention and treatment, advocacy, and health and wellness throughout her over 40-year non-profit career. She has led organizations as the Executive Director for over 28 of those years.    

Currently, Terrell serves as the Executive Director of Educational Alternatives, also known as the Oklahoma Regional Community Policing Institute, a nonprofit organization focusing on traffic safety, teen empowerment, and education/training for law enforcement and citizens concerned with the prevention of crimes and violence.  Classes, workshops, and conferences held across Oklahoma and on-line have reached tens of thousands of people to share the important message of safety. 

Ms. Terrell received both her BA in Political Science and her MA in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma.  Terrell is married to David Wilson enjoying a blended family of three daughters, a son, and three grandchildren.   

 

Associate Director

Nele Rogers, MPH

Nele has been working to help improve the lives of children and youth for decades. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Oklahoma and her Master of Public Health at the OU Health Science Center. In the past she has worked for the Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy, the Chickasaw Foundation, Oklahoma Child Care Resource & Referral Association. She was the Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters in Sherman, Texas; Director of Partnerships for the Sherman Independent School District, and also worked for Cimarron Opera. She is married to Mike, they have 4 children. Nele spends lots of time on her porch bed reading, working (and napping!) She enjoys scuba diving, family time, and gardening.
